During this trip we would like to tell them about things mentioned bellow :

·       General information about Chania district.

·       How was called the city in the past and how came up the name CHANIA.

·       Historical periods : Minoan, Byzantine, Venetian, Turkish, Independence, WW II. and nowadays.

The firs stop for our clients will be at the cemetery of the British Commonwealth solders to remind them about the battle of Crete during WW II.

The second stop will be again at very famous place with exceptional bird view of all Chania and the old port, with beautiful park and small church Ag. Apostolou frequently used for weddings (especially during summer). It is place called Venizelos tombs. Mr.Venizelos was famous politician who managed to consolidate Crete with Greece.

We will talk also about the Turkish occupation, about traditions, people and Cretan customs. We will arrive by bus in front of Agora (Market) and start the tour in the city.

Our guests can admire all buildings of different architecture styles and will learn more about each of them.

They will see:

Agora, Minaret, lather street, church Trimartiron, Turkish spa HAMAM, catholic church, Archeological museum, Venizelos sq. ,Kouisouk Hasan Mosque, the Byzantine walls of Kasteli, fortress Fircas, naval museum, lighthouse. And also they will have about 2 hours free for exploring chania town on their own. At about 23:30 we will meet again in front of Agora and return back to the hotels.
